How does zte peel work
The Peel's audio-jack pass-through is just a hair too deep and narrow to accommodate a stock pair of Apple earbuds, so you have to plug in a tiny adapter cord. Another thing to bring along, another thing to potentially lose.
That's a pretty annoying design flaw. Another annoyance: the included "Getting Started" guide doesn't tell you how do to things like set up a password so other users can't tap your mobile hot spot. You can find instructions on Sprint's Web site, but they're buried in the poorly titled "Admin Guide. Furthermore, the Peel is bulky, making your otherwise slender device feel a lot more brick-like in your pocket. The good news is that it's reasonably light, adding just 2.
I could forgive a lot of these issues--maybe even all of them--if Sprint didn't cap your monthly data at a paltry 1GB. If you go over, it'll cost you 5 cents per megabyte. To me that just seems stingy. A 2GB cap would make this whole enchilada a lot more appealing. Even so, I think the Peel might just find its way into a few stockings this holiday season. Would you like to see one turn up in yours?

Sprint just got an Apple iPhone—sort of. With Skype, you can then make voice-over-IP phone calls on Sprint.
The Peel snaps onto the back of the iPod touch, and also functions as a Wi-Fi hotspot for two other devices. You don't need to install any software, but it isn't clear from the announcement whether the touch connects to the Peel itself via Wi-Fi or whether there's something trickier going on involving the touch's dock port.
Although the Peel enables Wi-Fi, it will not support voice calling unless you resort to a third party application like Google Voice. The device itself is a lightweight yet bulky looking case designed for a second or third generation iPod touch.
The iPod touch snaps into the Peel and is held in place by two claw-like edges of semi-pliable plastic. The Peel itself is wire-free and battery powered so it requires an initial charge for around 4 hours before you can use it.
Once it is unplugged from the power source, the Peel has around 3 hours of Wi-Fi juice, which is one of the major points of contention over this device. It was surprising how easy and effortless it was to make the Peel work. The hotspot also allows one other person to access your internet connection. You may not be safe from this additional charge of 1 month.
